Canara Bank introduces CanPass, the Official Authentication Application for Canara Bank Cardholders, aimed at facilitating seamless and secure transaction authentication directly from users' mobile devices.

• Hassle-Free Registration: Existing cardholders can effortlessly register on the CanPass application in just two clicks, eliminating the need for lengthy form-filling.
• Easy Login: Registered users can conveniently log in by scanning their fingerprint.
• Authenticate from Your Mobile: The CanPass Application enables customers to verify card transactions directly from their mobile devices through push notification payments or Offline OTP.
• Real-Time Push Notification: Upon initiating a transaction, users promptly receive a notification on their registered mobile device to authenticate the transaction, allowing for quick completion by clicking 'Pay' on the notification.
• Offline OTP: Users can securely finalize transactions without waiting for an OTP. In case of offline status preventing OTP reception, transactions can still be validated by entering an offline OTP generated within the CanPass Application.
• Transaction History: Users can easily access a comprehensive record of all transactions authenticated via the CanPass Application.

During the registration process, the application may request access to:

1. 'Make and Manage Phone Calls'
2. 'Send and view SMS messages'

To ensure security, these permissions are necessary for registration, as an SMS must be sent from the user-selected SIM manually during registration.
